Software Engineer

SalesDesk is hiring. Our vision is to become the world’s leading B2B platform for remote selling. Not just a system of record, but a video-centric platform through which teams can sell, built on a no-code approach to data and workflow where real-time data is leveraged and not lost. Based in central London, we have just completed our first funding round, which will take us through to product launch and beyond. This is an opportunity to get involved at the start of an incredible journey and make a huge impact.

The role

We have a lot of interesting challenges to solve within our domain, some will require specific tech to be used - the list below is just a summary of what is in play today; we are very much counting on you to bring fresh ideas forward and Influence and contribute to technical architecture.

We’re looking for someone to:

1. Help design and build out the core SalesDesk platform
   

2. Develop performant, fault-tolerant distributed systems in AWS
   

3. Work closely with front-end engineers to build end-to-end web solutions
   

4. Influence and contribute to technical architecture
   

5. Participate in the entire development life cycle, from requirements to deployment
   

6. Automate where possible!

Your background

1. You will have 3-5 years post graduation experience ideally in a fast moving tech start up environment
   

2. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject
   

3. An inquisitive mind
   

4. A problem solving approach to your work
   

5. Willingness to push forward your own ideas
   

6. Strong technical and communication skills
   

7. Experience with Cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS
   

8. Experience with Node.js
   

9. Familiarity with Git
   

10. Familiarity with web development
    

11. Experience in video, Web RTC a plus
